Marketplace: Paxymer
Swedish NGO – Chemsec – recently released their new initiative for propagating substitution of hazardous substances. They call it Marketplace. Paxymer halogen free flame retardant, was one of the first products to register in the ”positive materials” list.
An efficient approach to propagating substitution is to push working alternatives on the side of RMLs (restricted materials lists) that are typically employed by the industry. Chemsec has taken notice of the approach and is complementing its previous effort Subsport with the more easily accessible Marketplace.
The webpage allows you to search for alternatives for chemicals that are under special concern. It is an easy way to ”future proof” your business according to Chemsec.
